My recent stay at Camping Humawaka in Provence offered a mixed bag of experiences. The warm welcome from Eric and Sonia set a pleasant tone, despite our delayed arrival. The campsite's facilities, including the clean shower block and convenient parking, were adequate. However, the accommodation fell short of expectations, lacking in luxury.The fair pricing of our stay compared to other options in the region was a silver lining. Breakfast offered on the house as compensation for electricity issues was a thoughtful gesture. The quaint village nearby had charming shops and a delightful boulangerie, adding a touch of local flavor. The tranquil setting and proximity to attractions like the Verdun gorges and the lake were definite pluses. A decent choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a simple retreat in nature.
